Frequently Asked Questions

• How Does a Casino Party Work?
We provide casino party rentals, including equipment, accessories, chips, and the dealers. We set up the tables at your venue and give your space the look and feel of an actual Vegas casino. When the party begins, the guests at your party are given “funny money” to buy chips at the tables. They can then begin playing the games and competing to win prizes, raffle tickets, or even just bragging rights.

• Ways to Give Prizes to Winners

High Score
Whoever has the most in chips at the end of the event wins the grand prize, 2nd place gets 2nd prize, 3rd place gets 3rd prize, et cetera.

Raffle Drawing
At the end of the event, players turn in their chips and receive raffle tickets at a fixed "exchange rate" - 1 raffle ticket for every 200 in chips, for instance. The tickets are then placed in a raffle drum where winning prize tickets are drawn.

Penny Social
Similar to a Raffle Drawing but instead of multiple prizes being drawn from one basket, there are multiple baskets each representing one prize. Drawings are then done individually. This allows players to enter to win only the prizes they want to win.

Prize Draft
Whoever has the most in chips at the end of the Casino Party gets first choice from a group of prizes, the runner-up gets 2nd pick, 3rd place gets 3rd pick, and so on.The most popular way to distribute prizes is when the casino closes, guests redeem their unused fun money and chips for raffle tickets, at a pre-determined exchange rate. The more chips they win- the more raffle tickets they accumulate. Once all the chips to raffle tickets conversions are done, you draw the winning tickets. More tickets doesn’t guarantee anyone a prize-only more chances to win. It only takes one ticket to win the grand prize-that’s part of the fun.

•  What if my guests have never gambled or don’t understand the games?

Mr. Casino Poker Parties are the perfect place for gambling novices to learn how to play casino games.  Our professional dealers are trained not only to deal but also to teach the games and basic strategies to your guests.

•  How many people are needed for a party?

We serve groups as small as 205 people and as large as 400 or more.

•  How many tables do I need at my casino party?

From our experience, it works best when you provide 50% to 60% coverage for your guests.  For example, if you have 100 guests, you would need 50 to 60 gaming positions. This allows a good flow to your party and will give everyone an opportunity to both play and socialize.

•  How many playing positions does each table hold?

On average each table holds the following amount of players.  However, we do have tables of different sizes so the exact number of player positions could vary.

Blackjack – 7 positions

Poker – 8 to 10 positions

Roulette – 8 to 10 positions

Craps – 6-12 positions depending on size of table

•  Can we use a casino party as a fundraiser?

Yes.  Mr. Casino Poker Parties has a dedicated staff with years of experience and knowledge.  We have helped thousands of charities raise money for their cause.

• What else does Mr. Casino offer that could enhance your casino party?

Mr. Casino offers so many enhancements to your event. The most popular are DJs, novelty performers like Vegas Showgirls, look-a-likes, impersonators, custom signage, magicians, photo booths, photography, video, transportation to and from the event, and so much more.
